Circles on Canvas

I was so happy to finally get my hands on a set of 'Limor's Circles' stamps from IndigoBlu & Limor Webber Designs. Our weekend retreat was the perfect time to sit down and make a couple of 8x10 canvases for my ensuite bathroom.

I had a lot of fun getting very messy with sprays & stencils as I built of the layers of this canvas & the stamps added that perfect finishing touch.

Thanks for looking!

What a weekend!

The Paradise Lost Girls had another fantastic weekend with a lovely group of ladies out at Kamp Kiwanis in the Nestor Lodge. It was wonderful making new friends & getting inspired by everyone.
Thank you for joining us!
A big thank you to Debbie for driving down from Lacombe & bringing her mobile store Scrappin' & Cardmakin' & another huge thank you to Selena driving out in the Scrapendipity Little Green Truck on Friday night for a little shopping too.

Heather & I are looking forward to hosting more weekend retreats in the fall so watch for our announcement with dates in the next couple of months.

We have a few spots left for our last Spring One Day Crop on April 11 so call or email us if you want to register.

Stay Crafty!

Our bags & vehicles are packed to overflowing! It must time for Heather & I to head out the Paradise Lost Scrappers Weekend Retreat in Bragg Creek, Alberta. It's going to be a fun weekend of getting crafty with crafty people but I better loosen up & do my pre-crafting stretches. I would hate to pull a muscle.
Have a great weekend everyone & stay crafty!

All the pretty colours!

I finally sat down and organized my Distress Stains, Ink Pads & Paints on the picture ledge's my husband installed for me. They store perfectly & are always close at hand.

I used some white chipboard to make the colour swatches for the shelf front. Look at all those gorgeous colours but that's not all of them!

Now that those are all organized I think it's time to get crafty!   I do believe I hear Abandoned Coral calling out to me.

Its Raining Cats & Dogs - an Explosion Album

I have pinned a lot of explosion boxes on Pinterest but have never attempted to make one. I love the look of them & how creatively interactive some people design them to be. I recently made a couple of mini-albums for my cousin & my niece who both had to say 'goodbye' to their furry friends. I decided to make a third one for my very close friend, Nicole, who said a sad farewell to her beloved feline friend, Cheyenne.  I wanted to do something different this time so off to Pinterest I went! I found this awesome tutorial video by Sabrina Radeck. I used Sabrina's video as inspiration for my explosion box.

I love the Raining Cats & Dogs line from Graphic 45
